The train journey today was long and tough. Just before I got on the first train for a long journey back to France, I was in a little panic about getting to my first stop which was in Pisa on time as I was going to have only thirty minutes to change the trains. I […]

For the past two days, I went to the Ciboure beach, a beach next to Saint-Jean de Luz, with Maiena, Laurent, Amaya, and Laurent’s friend since there was a bright sunshine outside. Brrrr! It’s freeeeeeezing cold here! It’s also quite dark here since there’s very minimal light. It’s also quite rocky. I was just hiking through some caves from the prehistoric era – La Grotte Sorcière and La Grotte Sare. These places were certainly quite creepy, and I seriously wonder how cavemen survived in these places.

Tonight, the entire Maublanc family and the entire Chaikof family met together for dinner at the Maublancs. It was an incredible opportunity for my family to meet the family with whom I stayed for the past two summers and I always have a ball. The kids and I spent hours chatting together while the parents […]
