Today was the first day of my group tour with SCAD, my university. I’m taking a photography course and the the best part about the course is that my photo professor was my Intro to Photo professor, and til this day, she is one of my best photo professors I’ve had so far. So, I know that I’m going to get some great educational experiences!
Since the students just came from a LOOONG flight from US, we had a very slow day. We went to a fantastic garden, the Botanical Gardens. This garden is SO BIG that I get lost! I was impressed by how people use the garden. Many people were relaxing on the vibrant green lawns, some were having a picnic, some were just jogging, and even some were doing sit ups and push ups! I’m impressed that people do take advantage of this area for exercising, something that many Americans need!
Tonight, we went out to dinner at Balka, a very nice restaurant that had a wide variety of food. I had some Al Carbonara and Al Bolongaise pasta, garden salad, all kinds of fish including shrip and mussels, and garlic bread.
Pictures coming soon…
