Paris Review: Eiffel Tower

Imagine the feeling of suffering the jet lag. It’s AWFUL! It’s one of those very few times when I feel BEYOND exhausted! This morning my group went to the Eiffel Tower and instead of taking the elevator to the second floor, we took the stairs! OW! I thought I was never going to make it up there, but I did. I have to say that it’s much worth paying the 4 extra bucks to just take the elevator rather than going up the stairs. There are WAY too many stairs! Little children were actually going up the stairs too and they did not complain! I was amazed because children usually whine as much as the crazy adults do! Seeing the city of Paris from the Effel Tower was certainly magnificent. I did go on the VERY TOP floor also, and of course THANKFULLY, we took the elevator! I have to say that there was no difference between the second floor and the top floor. Perhaps, on the top floor, we see the buildings much smaller than what would see on the first floor. Therefore, if you’re someone who wants to save money, don’t bother spending the extra bucks to just to go to the top floor to see the buildings smaller. Two floors exists in order to earn a lot of money from the tourists! With combination of the jet lag and going up on all those stairs to the second floor; I am dead! I will explain my afternoon excurision tomorrow….it was a waste of time! Not to worry, I enjoying every minute of being in the City of Lights. What’s so awesome – because I can speak French fluently, I feel like I actually live there and I’m not a tourist.
