A Loss of Sense of Direction

I have totally lost my sense of direction here!  The roads are so different from US that my brain is totally confused by the direction of which way I need to look!  As I head to a tram stop, I’m always about to head to the stop that goes in the opposite direction of where I want to go!  Before I cross the street, I always have to look both sides with extra cautious as my brain is too fried to know which way to look first.  When I was staying with a family prior to SCAD’s group trip in Sydney, I have often times accidentally opened the door to the driver’s seat…WHOOOPS!

Road signs are quite different including the pedestrian signs.  As I was driving through the Great Ocean Road, I saw a kangaroo sign!  Unfortunately, I was not able to snap a shot of that sign, but hopefully when I’m in Adelaide.  I also saw quite a few signs saying “DRIVE ON THE LEFT IN AUSTRALIA!”  Heeeeheeeee!

I also noticed that several people in Sydney drive mopeds.  That’s a very typical European lifestyle!
