Cars Cars Cars Cars – The European Cars!

I just gotta talk about the European cars! First of all, SUVs are almost NON-existance in Europe! 90 percent of the vehicles that we see on the road are small, VERY petite cars. I have to say that many of them are a touch smaller than my Toyota Matrix car! The mini vans are actually smaller than the American vans. There are three seats in the middle row and they are a touch smaller than the American car seats, of course. In the back, there are only two seats. That’s how they keep the van as compact as possible. United States really need to get rid of the SUVs. They pollute way too much and cause too much accidents! In fact, gas in France is NOT cheap! 12 £ per 2 litre! Imagine that in US dollars! My host family was actually completely shocked that to fill up my entire gas tank in my regular car is only 40 bucks! Now, imagine if the French owned a SUV! That would be VERY PRICE-Y! Also, the roads in Europe are way too narrow for big cars. Another thing, the trucks are also MUCH smaller too! I really wished that the US can change the vehicles in order to protect the environment! Have any of you seen “The Inconvenient Truth” with Al Gore? It’s a film that everyone MUST see!
