Three museums in one day and the day was certainly busy! First I went to Musée Cognaco-Jay, a museum about the Enlightenment Age. I bet almost none of the tourists know about this museum! I really enjoyed this museum. They have huge collection of porcelain, furniture, and paintings from the Enlightenment Age which was during the 18th century. In fact, this museum helped me understand better where my aunt’s and uncle’s beautiful antiques come from. Afterwards, I went to Musée Carnavalet, a museum on the history of Paris. This museum was not my favorite one. They just had huge collections of paintings of Paris from just before Middle Ages to 20th century, and the paintings were not the most outstanding. Afterwards, we went to the Louvre Museum! Yes, it was my third time there! I went to the Sully section which has a huge collection of Egyptian art, Greek art, and some art from Middle Ages. I just walked quickly through the Sully section since this section was soo big that it would have taken me at least a week to really fully look at each piece! The Egyptian and Greek art are absolutely magnificent, especially the Greek pots. After the Louvre, Christophe, Vincent (Christophe’s brother), and I went to McDonald’s. YES, again! French people LOVE American food! French people are just as bad as the Americans! Both guys got THREE cheeseburgers! That was it for the day. It was just a random busy day of visiting museums.
