London to Paris

Good-byeeeeeeeee to London!  I’m on the train called Eurostar, also known as the Chunnel Train, and I’m heading to Paris.  As I’m leaving London and looking out the window, I see cars on the left side of the roads for the last moment.  I pass by big rectangular boxes with company names on it, big huge cylinders puffing out smoke, buildings made of brick, and all that smoky industrial areas.  Woooooosh!  The train swoops into a tunnel.  As the train goes through the tunnel, I see nothing but black.  Oh man!  I wished I could see the underwater!  That would have been so cool!  Oh well!  About 15 minutes later, the train was out of the tunnel.  I see beautiful humped hills covered in green grass.  Then I see cars on the right side of the road!  Bonjour la France!  The train passes by beautiful homes resting on the hills, trees covered in green leaves, and as usual, green hills.  Music was certainly pumping into my ears from my iPod.  After about a half hour, I was completely zoned out.  Luckily, there was nobody sitting next to me, so I had TWO seats to myself, and so, I got to lie down.  Then I got up about 15 minutes before the train arrived at Gare du Paris Nord.  The train ride was only about 2 hours and 20 minutes.  It was absolutely perfect, and even better than taking a plane from London to Paris, especially since the security was A LOT less complicated.  Yes, we did have to go through the security to get on the chunnel train.  I don’t blame for the need to have a security for the chunnel trains as we wouldn’t anything dangerous to happen in middle of the tunnel!
