Today was not the most extraordinary day, but still very enjoyable and relazing since yesterday was a big long day. Anais, her mom, and I went to downtown Bayonne where we took stroll. It’s a very nice, old, and charming town. This town was actually built during the Middle Ages. In fact, there is a huge wall that surrounds the town. During the middle ages, the wall was used to protect the city from enemies. After the nice stroll in the town, we went to Anais’ and her mom’s good friend’s house that is located in the countryside. We had a very nice conversation – discussing about the culture differences between the French and the Americans. By the way, I forgot to mention the little shock that I had at the beach the other day. Some women do not wear a top bathing suit! Only an underwear! Of course that is very normal in the European culture, but for the Americans, obviously that’s quite weird!
