This building amuses me.  There are pipes wrapping itself around a rectangular building.  I took an awesome escalator ride through the pipes to the fourth floor where all of the artwork are displayed.  The architecture is just so unusual.

I was entering the Pompidou Center, a place that has the National Museum of Modern Art and a few awesome stores that sells cool artsy stuff and books on modern art.  Anyways, the museum was just fantastic.  The art are very different and very interactive.  We could really be part of the art.  For example, there was a cave and inside the cave, there were black and white swirly lines all over the place.  We could seriously walk inside the cave!  My sister had a hit walking in that cave.  There were some sculpture made of everyday life items such as bottle caps, car parts, and shoes.  There were lots of sculptures and paintings that have patterns or also known as repetition.  Reptition is a HOT design of today.  There were quite a bit of art diplayed by well-known artists such as Pableo Picasso, Jackson Pollack, and Marcel Duchamp.  I saw Duchamp’s very well-known art piece that I always find it amusing, the Fountain.

Duchamp just took this piece of junk and wrote some letters on there and said it was his artwork.  Do you get the joke of this piece?
