People can do all of their shopping in one day at the same location which is at Champs-Elysees.  Champs-Elysees is a one-stop shopping area for tourists.  My family and I went to Champs-Elysees for dinner and to hang out.

We had dinner at a very nice restaurant that had entrées for reasonably prices FOR CHAMPS-ELYSEES.  Champs-Elysees is a HIGH touristy area.  The entrées were about 7.5 euros to 13 euros.  I forgot the name of the restaurant, but I will look for it and get back to you as soon as possible.  My mom and I shared a bowl of luscious vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate ice cream with bananas and wipped cream and a piece of a yummy and warm cheese crêpe.  My sister got the same ice cream bowl as my mom and I got which is actually called the Banana Split on the menu.  My brother just got a strawberry milkshake since he was full from his big lunch.  My dad didn’t get anything as he was full from his lunch too.  My brother and my dad had lunch separate from us, the girls today.  After dinner, we continued to walk down the Champs-Eylsees, and all of the sudden, in middle of a FOREIGN land, my dad runs into a friend who he has not seen in about ten years.  HOLY COW!  So, my parents spoke to the friend and his wife for awhile.

Then we went to Virgin Mega, a HUGE Barns and Noble like store.  I wanted to pick up a few books that are not available in US yet for my independent photography study course this fall.  While we were in Virgin Mega, rain poured, but luckily by the time were finished shopping in the store, the rain calmed down.  It was getting really dark and late, and so, we headed back to the hotel.  Ugh!  I would have loved to continue to stroll down, but I’ll be back again this fall!

And yes, we did see the Arc de Triomphe!
