Jean-Victor, Marie, their mom, and I drove up to Bordeaux, another major city like Paris, and it’s located two hours north from Bayonne. Bordeaux is a smaller version of Paris. The architecture is the same. However, there are fewer musuems than Paris and Bordeaux is more for business like Atlanta. L’École des Beaux-Arts, the most prestigious art school in the world and many well known artists including Renoir and Monet attended this school, is located in Bordeaux. Of course I saw the building and thought, “hmmmm…I should apply there so that I can be in France!” Of course I’m joking, this school would be WAY TOOOOO hard for me to be accepted. LOL. I also saw the Grand Théâtre, a well known theater in France. One of the MAJOR difference between Bordeaux and Paris is that there is NOBODY in Bordeaux. In other words, we do not see anybody walking outside unlike Paris where we see millions of people on the sidewalks. Why? It’s too hot to walk outside! Jean-Victor, Marie, and I just took a stroll around the city and survived through the hot weather.
