Trekking through the beautiful waters of Provence

Provence is another beautiful region in Europe like Tuscany.  In fact, Provence is not too much different from Tuscany.  The lands of Provence is just a little rockier than the lands in Tuscany.  There are lots of big rounded hills with lots of cypress trees.  There are also sunflowers, but unfortunately, they are completely dried.  Right now, they just have a big fat brown hairy ball with shriveled yellow petals.  There’s a big river that runs through the Provence region called the Rhône River.

Today, my host family and I took a magnificent boat ride along a part of the coast of the Provence region and part of the Rhône River.  The scenery was breathtaking and the ride was very relaxing.

Rachel, such beautiful pictures. I feel like I’m tracking Santa on Christmas Eve….every morning I wake to “where’s Rachel”?? and I pull you up here to see where you’ve been. I know you’re a little homesick but just remeber, you want all these gorgeous pictures, you want the experience, and you never know what’s waiting in the next town. Every town wants you to tell it’s story thru your lens and you’re doing such a good job. Have fun!

Hey Val! Don’t worry…I’m not homesick. It was just a very STRANGE feeling. I’m still very excited to be traveling and discovering new things!
