I’m dancing ferociously, but not like a drunkard. I’m just dancing with fast beats and having a wild time with French friends in a countryside home of Anais’ friend, about an hour from Bayonne. Gourmet French food cluttered across the table and made my mouth water. It was so attempting to sit and eat every moment of the party. I gobbled up a slice of quiche, then a slice of baguette, and then another slice of yummy quiche. A slice of cheese slipped in mouth seconds later. Then an apple cinnamon cake came along and a whole slice was gulped down in no time. Bottles of wine and beer were everywhere, but fortunately, I’m not an alcohol drinker as the taste tastes like an awful medicine. So, I just drank cups of juice which was just as cool as drinking a glass of beer. Music and chatterbox were certainly everywhere. While school life is very different between France and US, young French people certainly have as much fun as young Americans do outside of school.
