When I was on the train heading back to France from Italy, I had a weird feeling. It’s been five weeks since I’ve been away from home. Five weeks is actually the longest time I’ve been away from home. I felt that it was time for me to go back home, but I wasn’t going home. It was weird to feel that way because every summer for the past few years, when I was in Europe, I never felt ready to go home. I actually sobbed for awhile when it was time to say good bye to the beautiful land and to the people who I love. I should be feeling the excitement that I got to stay much longer on this trip.
So, I gave myself a good thought to erase the weird feeling that I was having in my mind:
I just completed a series of successful segments of trips: A two weeks trip with my family, a week visit at Maiena’s, and a ten days trip to Tuscany to meet Jodi and her family.
I just finished a good few chapters. Now, I’ve just opened up a new chapter, and I’m ready to venture to a region that I’ve hardly seen after all those trips to France!
That sure did erase my thoughts, and I was beginning to feel the excitements to head off for many more wonderful adventures!
