Wonderful day at the airport

As soon as I descended from the plane and enter the airport in Paris. Familiar smell of my favorite french food came under my nose. As I walked through the airport, I saw bakeries everywhere loaded with true french bread, croissants, and brioches. This gave me signal that I will be returning to “my grandmother’s house” with fresh goodies.

As I walked through the airport, I was looking for the Air France counter so that I could check in my bag for my flight to Biarritz. As I was walking down, all I saw was multi-colored people. Black people, Asians, Arabs, and other Middle Easterns. I looked at each airline name at each counter, and all of them were airlines from Africa, Asia, and Middle East. Where the heck is AIR FRANCE?? I went up to an employee and asked her in French “Where is Air France?” She told me that it’s in the other building that was on the completely on the opposite end. “So, you mean that I have to walk to the other building?” I asked her.

“Yup. Just follow the footsteps to the other building,” she replied. So then, I go outside with my suitcase, my big heavy bookbag and my shopping bag with my fragile Venetician mask that I brought in Venice and took a long walk to get to the other building. There was NO train nor moving sidewalks like other airports! Orly Airport in Paris apparently has two big separate buildings! UGH! I did eventually arrived to the other building and then, as soon as I got there, I found out that it was too early to check in my suitcase! So, I went to a waiting area by the check in counter and slept while holding my suitcase and my bag tightly so that no one could steal them.
