Americans certainly do love drinking sodas as United States is loaded with a wide selection of sodas.  Well, of course not all as I don’t like sodas.  I recently learned that France has a huge selection of juices that I have never seen before including abricot juice and banana juice!

The other day, I was talking to my host family in Avignon about how disgusting abricots taste in US, and how much I love the abricots in France.  Abricots in France taste like candy.  No joke!  It’s the sweetest and the freshest thing that I could taste.  They told me that I should try abricot juice.  “Le jus d’abricot existe?”  I said, “Abricot juice exist?”  My eyes popped out.  Unbelievable!

Two days after the conversation about abricot, my host family brought home a bottle of abricot juice for me to try.  It was the sweetest and the most delicious thing that I could taste.  It’s nothing compared to any other juices.  It’s another different juice.

Then yesterday, when I arrived at my second host family, my host family and I discussed about what food I like to eat and what drinks I like to drink.  During the conversation, the mother of the host family said, “Oh! J’adore le jus de banane!”  The host mother said, “Oh!  I love banana jus!”  What the heck?  There’s banana juice?!

This morning, I had banana juice for breakfast.  Oh my gosh!  Oh my gosh!  This thing was completely mouthwatering.  It tastes like banana bread batter.  I make banana bread often at home, and I love tasting the batter.  It’s a very tasty and creamy drink.

Seriously, why does US not have any of these fruit drinks, but they have all these sodas?  I’m sure if any companies make more than just orange juice, apple juice, and grape juice, they can really boost their sales by making banana juice and others that don’t exist in US.  Definitely not abricot juice unless someone can figure out how to grow GOOD SWEET abricots!
