I went to a market that I would actually call “the LARGEST garage sale.” This market was packed with used toys, clothes, electronics, dishes, and just bunch of crap. It seemed to be a place for people who just cleaned their house and just want to get rid of their items by selling them. While I found most of the items to be distgustingly junkie such as a chiped plate, worn out barbies who have frazzled hair, and a big fat computer monitor, many items brought back some memories.

I saw a Minnie Mouse headband that I often wore to pretend that I was Minnie Mouse.

I saw a pair of bright yellow skates that I wore when I was just a tot!

I also saw the the most ADORABLE toy, WuvLuv, that my sister had when she was little!

After touring through the junkie market, I took a stroll in a park to browse the beautiful scenery and to photograph.

You said: “.. junkie market!”
I thought you were meaning drug addicted idiots p*mpin’ themselves – like on DR!
HaHa!
Hey now! That “big fat computer” might be “old” but lemme ‘splain something to you: my first computer was a Radio Shack machine that weighed about 200,000 pounds, consumed 400 amps of electricity, and chewed out 1,000 punch-cards per minute – without the help of illegal immigrants!
Vroooom! Vroooom!
:o)

I do believe you, Paotie, that the first computers were freakin’ huge. I’ve seen pictures! I’m glad to be born just in time when smaller computers came out! I wonder what the next generation of computers will look like!
Luca, that computer is OOOOLD! I wonder how you handled using it! The screen was colorless, wasn’t it?

Rachel ..
Actually, the old computer screens were in GREEN. Watch the movie, “War Games”, starring Matt Broderick, and you’ll get an idea.
First computer language I learned was BASIC.

Paotie,
You know…when you mentioned the word, GREEN, that just reminded me of my grandma’s old computer. Her OLD computer from years ago had a green screen. So, I know what you’re talking about.
But weren’t Commodore 64′s screens blue?

What a GRAND scene! I can totally picture two hot sexy guys tripping all over the place! HaHa!
WOW! That’s an interesting info about Commodore 64! Although I don’t see two much differences between TV screens and computer monitors as I watch movies on my computer screen more often than on TV screens. LOL
Computers and other technologies are improving too fast to make us feel old. The very first computer my family owned had no hard drive. The very first printer that my family owned had NO color ink. I remember when we first got a color printer when I was 10 years old, I thought it was the coolest thing. Then not too long after we got a color printer, we got a scanner that took 20 minutes to scan one document. That was only 11 years ago… Talk about how fast technology is improving!
