Summer season is obviously over in France as the weather is quite chilly, and museums and other tourist attraction sites are very empty in these days.  I’m heading to my university tomorrow in Provence which means that I will be saying good bye to Besançon tomorrow morning.  I’m taking a train, actually two trains.  It’ll be another fun day of riding through the country!  I’m really looking forward to having same old college social life once again where we’ll all be staying up late, gossiping, and drinking some frappuccinos, but I’m not so sure about school work…  I need at least a week just to sit and do nothing, but sleep before my courses begin so that my brain is refreshed.

Did I just say frappuccino?  That actually does not exist anywhere in France except for Paris, the ONLY city in France that has Starbucks.  I guess I’ll be drinking France’s rich hot chocolate instead!
