Walking through woods often times bring surprises. Today, I was told that there was an optional activity to Cedar Forest. I’m not a big fan of forests, but I thought I should still go anyway because I’d never know what I’d see. I walked through the woods, and as always, I find things that just doesn’t fascinate me such as bugs. GROSS!
I just kept on going and took advantage of the exercise walk that I very much needed.
One of the interesting things that I learned about this woods is that the trees are not originated from France. They were originated from Algeria and Asian countries. People just brought a few trees to this land, and the trees just grew and spread throughout the land.
Then, I come across a land with very minimal number of trees.
I just kept on going. It was just a piece of a land.
A few moments later, I realized that I was on top of the Provence region, or to be more specific, on top of the Luberon region, a region in Provence.
Walking along the cliff of the Cedar Forest was just beyond surreal. I snapped photos every second of my visit here.
This region is filled with vibrant green mountains and bright gray rocks which is certainly a trait of the Provence region. Having rocks, grass, and trees mixed together in the mountains brings in nice variety of colors to the region.

HaHa!
I love that log-on-wheels. Did it go fast? I bet it didn’t.
Wow! I am soooo far behind! I am sorry!
