Walking up and down the mountain every day

UGH!  I feel like the muscles are being pulled all over the place in my legs.  It feels like as if someone is trying to pull part of my leg off.  I’m getting pain in my back.  It just simply feels like burning hot water running through my back.  I’m about to lose some breath as if I suddenly feel tired for a moment.  I feel like I’m climbing up the stairs to the top of a tower.  I was just walking up a sloping hill that is filled with lots of bumps.

Because Lacoste is located on the mountain, I have to walk up and down the mountain every day.  I feel like I am going up and down the stairs all day long.  On the other hand, I certainly don’t mind as I’m getting great exercise, and I don’t have to worry about taking a half hour of my time to exercise on a machine!  Roads are certainly covered in cobble stones which certainly makes the walk more grueling.

Rachel ..

WOW! Look at the cobblestones. Man, I envy you being in history-rich France, seeing all the land, buildings and people there. Walking over centuries-old bridges is something amazing.

The closest I’ve been is in Santa Fe – a church built in the year 15,000 BC. And it has a wooden spiral staircase that rumor says was built by an angel. I think it may be the only one ever built without any sort of support structures.

Anyway .. love your pictures and narratives.

:o)
