“The clouds are getting quite dark. I think it’s going to rain.” said Zoie, one of my friends.
“Oh GAWD!” I said.
Seven of us, girls, just walked for an hour and a half to another little village near Lacoste, Bonnieux to have a fun Friday afternoon. We walked on the sides of winding and narrow road. We passed by the beautiful fields of grapes, apricots, and trees. I stopped and snapped some photos. I ran and caught up the group after I took a few moments to snap some shots. That is certainly very typical of me.
“YAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!” We screamed when we finally approached Bonnieux. While we were delighted that we made it there, we were uncertain if we could stay there for awhile due to the dark creepy clouds.
“Drip!” I heard a sound of a rain drop. Rain was about to begin.
We just stopped at an ice cream place and grabbed some tasty ice cream. I got tiramisu flavor, and it was deliciously rich and creamy. It was just so good!
“Drip! Drip! Drip!” Rain was getting harder, and we were all standing under a little roof. The cashier from the ice cream place shouted and told us to come inside. We all went inside for a few minutes. Some of the girls were dying for some pizza and hot chocolate. None of us except for one had an umbrella.
So, we all ran as fast as we could down the road to a little cafe. I have to say that the rain was POUNDING as HARD as hell! I felt like I was in a big shower room! By the time we got to the cafe, we were all soaked and looked like we just fell into the water. People at the cafe were laughing at us! “HaHa!”
The student service guy from SCAD came and got us as the rain was still pounding and the road was too slippery for us to walk back. He’s such a sweet guy!
As soon as I got back, I took a long hot shower. I was such a mess!

Wow! Look at the necklace on the person on the right in the above picture!
Oh! I saw a woman with fully-haired armpits today – and I was revolted! I was like, “GREAT GOLLY-GOODLUMS!”
Do women in France do the same? Are hairy-pitted women common in France?
