Lower the price please!

I absolutely love going to opened-air markets!  I love them much more than going to malls!  It’s simply because I can negotiate the items with the sales person.  Several months ago, I had a brown leather belt that I loved and wore all the time.  I lost it when I was going through the airport security.  I had to take it off due to the damn bureaucracy rules, and so, I forgot to put it back on, and it was left there!  I sure did dearly miss it.  I found a similar one for a cheap price when I was in Spain, but it was still not the same belt.  When I was at the market, I found the exact same leather belt that I had.  The original price was 24 euros.  I asked the gentlemen in French if I could get it for 20 euros.  He said in french, “It’s my gift to do it!”  It sure did make my day, and now I’m wearing the perfect belt that goes with just about every outfit that I wear!  Seriously, don’t ever walk away with a product that was purchased at the original price!

So, I was at the market in Apt again today.  Opened-air market is always filled with wonderful dynamics.  I noticed that it’s a place where the community can come together as I always see people saying hello to each other, hugging each other, kissing, and just acting as if they’ve known each other for years.
