All I knew that I was going to des Baux de Provence, another village in Provence today.  On the way to des Baux de Ptovence, we stopped by an area filled with trees.  Actually, I should say that we stopped by the woods.  “We’re having lunch in the woods?” That was my first impression as soon as I got out of the car.

We walked up a path through the woods.  All I saw was trees.  Just trees.  Nothing spectacular.  Then I see a mountain.  I have to confess that I absolutely love mountains.  I find mountains to be the most beautiful form of land.  So, I get a little excited, but I was still kind of unsure of where we were heading.

Then, we make a sharp turn.  After we made a turn, I see a lake.  We were walking out of the woods.  After we walked out of the woods, I came across an unbelievably beautiful scenery!  A lake surrounded by mountains.  What a serene place to be!  We were right by Les Alpilles, a mountain range in Provence.  I sure did immediately turn on my camera and snapped a heap amount of pictures!

We had a picnic right by the Les Alpilles!
