I’ve never seen a town that is SO PINK and RED. ALL buildings brown-ish pink. It’s absolutely beautiful. It’s even more beautiful than homes made of red-brick. The buildings are also quite old as I can see the paint coming off the doors and shutters. Missing paint spots on shutters and doors is actually very pretty. It adds textures and vibration as I can see the wooden part of the door and the texture of the wood is quite different from the texture of the paint. So, this creates a very nice contrast.

This beautiful rosy little village is filled with galleries like Fontaine de Vaucluse. As I said in the previous blog, seeing artwork in other countries is always an adventure as the styles can be quite different from American art.
Over looking the hills from the village, there are some red plateaus. These red plateaus look like huge blobs of clay resting on grassy hills. It creates a nice effect to the scenery as red and green are complimentary colors. Actually, it makes me think of Christmas!
